Venue: Graves Park (Cobnar Road/Warminster Drive entrance)
Times: 2k Family Fun Run 11.00am, 10k Race 12.00pm
Please note there
will be no 10k entries accepted on the day
The course will take
you through established routes in and around Graves Park
This year we will
be using the ChampionChip timing system. This will mean you will
get a very accurate reading of your time and there will be no need
for funnelling at the end of the race. Please remember to take it
off at the end of the race and return to one of the designated points
as we will recieve a percentage refund for each one returned.
There will be various
catering facilities and entertainment on the day.
There will be 8 Individual
Race Categories
Male: Senior, 15-39:
40-49: 50--59: 60+
Female: Senior, 15-34:
35-44: 45-54: 55+
Race entrants will
receive:
Race Number (to be
posted out in early April)
T-Shirt (on race completion)
Sponsorship and Sweepstake forms (on confirmation of race entry)
Race Rules
1. Competitors must be 15 years or over to compete in this 10k Race.
Be of amateur status as defined by B.A.F laws.
2. All participants enter the event entirely at their own risk.
Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity shall not be liable for any
injury or loss that might occur as a result of participation other
than death or personal injury due to negligence.
3. Any participant unsure of their physical ability to take part
in the race should receive medical advice from a general practitioner
prior to the event.
4. Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity is unable to accept any
entries on the day of the race.
5. Correct contact details for all participants must be provided,
in case of an emergency, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity may
use these details to contact your home or office.
6. All participants must write their name and details of any health
problems or medication on the reverse of the race number, which
must be worn on the front of the participants t-shirt / vest during
the race.
7. If the race is full or closed and you have already posted your
entry fee, your cheque or credit cards details will be destroyed
and you will be notified.
8. By taking part all participants confirm that they are happy for
their names and footage or photographs taken during their participation
in the race to be used to publicise the event and Sheffield Children’s
Hospital Charity generally.
9. Any monies raised in connection with Sheffield Children’s Hospital
Charity and Theo’s 10k Race must be passed to Sheffield Children’s
Hospital Charity. You have a legal responsibility to ensure that
all sponsorship monies/donations received by you for the Theo’s
10k Race are paid to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.
